Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What does Respite mean?
A: It literally means "a break from" or "a rest from" the regular, normal schedule.
Q: Who is the typical respite candidate?
A: At Riverglen House, the Respite Program is designed to provide housing and services to people who need short term accommodations after an illness or hospitalization, or for families who care for loved ones and need a safe place for them to temporarily reside while they are away, or for prospective residents who wish to experience all the Riverglen offers as part of a longer term decision.
Q: How do you get started?
A: Depending on how long of a stay, from packing a suitcase to bringing a few more personal items like favorite furniture. All residents whether respite or long term go through the same admission process and sign a lease for the expected period of stay.
Q: Who do I contact?
A: Call Ted Cooper, Senior Living Director, at 603-444-8880 and leave the rest to us!
